Garth Brooks Has a Secret

Brooks, Garth

Garth Brooks is up to something. Scores of Nashville journalists received a “save-the-date” invitation to a private press conference, which will be held tomorrow (Oct. 28) at the Supreme Court Building in Nashville.

Garth will be joined by Tennessee governor Phil Bredesen, Nashville mayor Karl Dean, U.S. Senators Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker, and U.S. Congressman Jim Cooper. No further details regarding the reason for the press conference were given in the announcement.

Garth announced in Oct. 2009 that he was coming out of retirement to perform a five-year concert engagement at the Wynn Resort's Encore Theater in Las Vegas and began performancing at the Encore Theater in Dec. 2009.

What do you think the press conference will be about?
