GARTH BROOKS DIVORCE OFFICIAL

After being separated since March of 1999, the almost 15-year marriage of Garth Brooks to wife Sandy is officially over.

Brooks filed papers in a Davidson County, Tennessee Circuit Court in November 2000, citing irreconcilable differences. Brooks' spokeswoman Karen Byrd had no additional comment other than to confirm the report.

The couple have three daughters aged 8, 6 and 4 and have homes in Tennessee as well as Oklahoma.

Brooks' new album, "Scarecrow" was released in November and is currently number one on the Billboard country chart.
