Garth’s Wal-Mart Thank You Show Is Official

He'll knock the rust off, drag out the stage and perform a "one time" show in Kansas City.

He hinted at it during a Nashville press conference in August, but Garth Brooks has now confirmed that the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., is the site for his One Artist, One City, One Time show set for Nov. 14. "We do have a show that's . . . been on the books for a year and a half, and that's the Wal-Mart thank you concert," proclaimed Garth to countryaircheck.com on Sept. 27. "We are going to drag the stage back out and fire the rig up, get those pants back out . . . I can already tell you that halfway throught the show, I won't have a voice, but I'm going to enjoy myself," declared Garth, who's been in a self-imposed exile from touring for the past few years as he's been a full-time presence in the lives of his kids in Oklahoma. Ticket information will be available Oct. 3.
