GARAGE SALE GARTH

In Hollywood, a woman holding a garage sale was shocked to find Garth Brooks sifting through the CD's she'd put out for sale. Garth held up one of his own CD's, marked at 50 cents, and said, "Half a buck -- is that all I'm worth?"

The woman was stunned and managed to stammer to the superstar that she had played the disc so many times she almost wore it out.

Bighearted Garth signed the CD cover and gave it back -- later, the woman turned down a $100 offer for the disc, saying she was going to keep it forever.
