GAC Host Honored by Buck Owens’ Family

Storme Warren, host of GAC’s Country Music Across America and a regular contributor to Country Weekly, was honored with a Buck Owens red, white and blue signature guitar at the Buck Owens birthday bash in Bakersfield, Calif., Aug. 14.

Storme joins Dick Clark and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as the only recipients of the guitar, which represents official induction into the Owens Family Ring of Honor. Buck’s son Buddy presented Storme with the guitar, saying that, “Storme is a supporter who has gone out of his way in promoting the Buck Owens legacy.” Buck did the last on-camera interview of his career with Storme, which led to a GAC special in March of 2006.
