GAC AIRS CHRIS LEDOUX TRIBUTE

Tune in to GAC tomorrow at 9 p.m. Eastern, immediately following "The Grand Ole Opry Live!" show, to see "A Tribute to Chris LeDoux: His Life and Music." The special honors Chris, who passed away March 9 from complications of bile duct cancer. The 30-minute show is narrated by Chris' longtime friend, Charlie Daniels, and is from an exclusive interview with Chris about his life and career. It was recorded in 1999, just one year before he underwent surgery for a liver transplant. The program features Chris and "Country Music Across America" host Storme Warren at Charlie's log cabin in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., where the pair discuss Chris' most popular songs released on his 20 Greatest Hits CD, as well as his philosophy on life as a rodeo and recording artist. Charlie also wrote a special tribute to honor the late 56-year-old entertainer that will air as a part of Saturday's encore presentation of the original program.
