GAC “Kaptures” a Winner

Stephen Shumacher of Charleston, W.Va., has been named the winner of GAC's "Kapturing a Love Song With Katie Armiger " contest.

More than 50,000 fans entered the contest at gac.com for the chance to write a love song with teen star Katie Armiger, whose singles include "17 in Abilene" and "Make Me Believe." Stephen will be flown to Nashville on March 23 to write a love song with Katie, which will be produced by newcomers Love and Theft. The 56-year-old father of four, the CFO of a local government agency, has been performing with a cover band for several years and became a fan of Katie about a year ago. “I am so excited to write and record with Stephen," says Katie. "After speaking with him, I know this is going to be a really great experience and am thrilled he won. And getting to work with Love and Theft, they are so talented. I cannot wait to see what we all come up with.” Katie and Stephen's song will be released exclusively on iTunes.
