With his current single, “Helluva Life,” quickly approaching the Top 10 on the country singles chart, fans may be wondering just what Frankie Ballard will do to celebrate should the song actually reach the top. Well, wonder no longer.

“I want to buy a full-on Manuel suit,” Frankie tells Country Weekly with a smile. “Manuel is one of the most legendary Nudie suits designers. It’s a dying art form . . . that rhinestone suit. Manuel’s an older guy, and when he’s not around anymore, I don’t know if that’s ever going to be possible to get one of those. I’m such a huge fan of that era in country music with the whole rhinestone thing, so I want to get a full-on Manuel suit.”

Frankie’s even gone as far as knowing the color and design that he would have Manuel make his suit.

“I think I want it to be purple with a crocodile on the back and on the arms, full-on in rhinestones,” Frankie says. “And then I’m going to wear it to an awards show! They’re not cheap . . . but I’ll have No. 1 money! That would be a cool way to commemorate my first No. 1 in country music with something so country.”

This week, “Helluva Life” is at No. 14 on the charts. The song is the lead single from Frankie’s forthcoming sophomore album, Sunshine & Whiskey, due out on Feb. 11.
