Florida Georgia Line Really Does Like to “Cruise”

Heck, even other country stars like Taylor Swift can't get enough of "Cruise," the debut hit by new country duo Florida Georgia Line.

The song is rocketing toward No. 1 for duo members Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard.

And here's the thing: Brian and Tyler really do like to roll their windows down and cruise.

"There's nothing better to me," Brian tells ABC News Radio.

"I mean, I know he [Tyler] likes riding on his motorcycle. He'll cruise with his truck and windows down. I love just getting out and hitting some back roads anywhere," he said.

"We're always gonna have our music up and windows down. It's refreshing, man. There's nothing really better than that."

Well, the one thing better might be to write a song about it and have it be a big hit. And it'd be even better if that song was easy to write.

Turns out, it was.

"As songwriters, when you get lucky on days, you kind of thank the songwriting gods," Brian said, "'cause that one kind of fell out of the sky. We were in the middle of writing another song, and a line just kind of came out and we rolled with it."
