Flatts' Gary LeVox to Sing at Nashville Church Christmas Shows

He and American Idol alum Danny Gokey will each do a song at the church pageant.

Ever wonder if living in Nashville means a huge country star might just pop up in the middle of your church service and sing a song or two?

Well, that actually is happening this week at one Nashville-based church, where Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox is expected to sing a song at three different performances of a local church's Christmas pageant.

Gary will be part of two performances Wednesday (Dec. 21), at 6 and 8 p.m., of the nondenominational Oasis Church's Light—An Oasis Christmas Experience. A third show happens at 6 p.m. Friday (Dec. 23). Church organizers expect the performances to be packed, so they're offering the shows online at oasischurch.tv.

No word on how Gary got involved with the pageant at the megachurch, which has two satellite churches in Nashville and thousands of online viewers worldwide each week.

American Idol alum Danny Gokey, who is a member of Oasis Church, will also perform at the Christmas pageants.
