The Rascal Flatts family is getting a little bigger. Bassist and vocalist Jay DeMarcus and his wife, Allison, a former Miss Tennessee and CMT personality, are anticipating the birth of their first child in January.

"Allison and I are thrilled about becoming parents. I am confident Ali will be a wonderful mother because she has done an incredible job raising me over the past six years," Jay said in a statement.

“Jay and I are thrilled to let everyone know we are going to be parents! We can't wait and are ecstatic to share our news,” added Allison.

The group's Gary LeVox is father to two daughters, 9-year-old Brittany and 6-year-old Brooklyn, with wife Tara. Meanwhile, Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany Fallon have a 2-year-old son, Jagger, and are expecting their second child in September.

Jay and Allison were married May 15, 2004, in Nashville.
