The Farm Plays In-Flight Concert

Trio joins Southwest Airlines’ Live at 35 concert series.

Most country artists have great stories about the unusual places they've played, but one might not expect a concert to take place within the cramped onfines of an airplane's cabin.

But that's exactly what trio The Farm (Nick Hoffman, Damien Horne and Krista Marie) is doing today on a Southwest flight traveling from Phoenix to San Diego. The band is taking part in Southwest Airlines' Live at 35 concert series, which has them performing at 35,000 feet on Southwest-themed mini Taylor guitars.

Live at 35 is part of Taylor Guitars' and Southwest Airlines' 2013 Travelin' Taylor Tour series, which features artists playing the custom instruments. In addition to The Farm, artists playing the series include Parmalee, Easton Corbin, Vintage Trouble, Taylor Hicks and Good Old War. Check out the video below about the making of the custom SW Air-themed instruments, and you can check Southwest's blog for video of The Farm's performance.
