Fans Will Be the Winners on 2012 Kenny & Tim Tour
“I wish it was happening right now. . . . I’m so ready for it,” says Kenny.

June 2012 can't come soon enough for Kenny Chesney. That's when he'll kick off the highly anticipated Brothers of the Sun Tour 2012 with fellow country superstar Tim McGraw.
"I wish it was happening right now. . . . I'm so ready for it," Kenny enthused to radio station KIKN in Souix Falls, S.D. "I'm really excited to say that I'm going out on the road next summer with my buddy. It's really hard for me to believe, because Tim and I have been friends a long time. We've made a lot of music together and made a lot of memories together. He's one of my best friends in the business and outside the business."
Tim and Kenny first toured together as two newcomers on the music scene as part of the George Strait Country Music tours. Tim then invited Kenny to join him as an opening act on a tour in 2001. Now, more than 10 years later, these two superstars will have one of the hottest tours of summer 2012. "Giving the fans the best possible show they can get next summer—that's the thing I'm most excited about, because the people that are gonna win the most is the fans," says the "Reality" singer. "They're gonna get a lot of music thrown at them, and they're going to hopefully have an evening that they're gonna remember for a long time."
Tim and Kenny will be joined by opening acts Jake Owen along with Kenny's "You and Tequila" partner Grace Potter along with her band, The Nocturnals. The tour includes 19 stops across the country, with the first show kicking off June 2 in Tampa, Fla. Dates for the Brothers of the Sun tour are below:
