Fans Pick Newcomer Favorites

The Band Perry and Eric Church have been named the Academy of Country Music Top New Vocal Duo or Group and Top New Solo Vocalist, respectively, the ACM and GAC announced Friday (Feb. 25). The Band Perry and Eric were chosen by fans who voted at GAC's website, gactv.com. The two acts will now compete for the ACM's Top New Artist award, which will be presented at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards telecast, April 3, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on CBS.

Fans can cast their vote for Top New Artist at voteacm.com, beginning March 11 through April 3.
