Famous Mississippians and Their Friends Step Up to the Plate

Faith Hill joins fellow Mississippians Morgan Freeman, John Grisham, Brett Favre, Sela Ward, Steve Azar and other celebrities and entertainers taking part in "Mississippi Rising," a fundraising concert in support of the Mississippi Hurricane Recovery Fund. The nonprofit Fund was established to give corporations, organizations and individuals a means to donate money, goods and services to help Mississippians rebuild their communities. The Oct. 1st benefit on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, will be broadcast live by MSNBC, and local TV and radio stations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana.
