FAITH TO NEWCOMERS: MAKE SURE YOU'RE READY

Faith Hill's advice to newcomers on the country scene? Don't hit the road until you're ready.

Faith tells the Calgary Sun that she felt so much pressure to tour after her back-to-back No.1 hits "Wild One"" and "Piece Of My Heart," that she burst a blood vessel in her vocal chords.

"The fact that I had been around the business didn't really prepare me for life on the road -- it's totally different," she says. " I had a great time that year. I was really blessed and very lucky, but I was just running on pretty much no gas."
