According to a statement from the band, Patrick passed away suddenly on Tuesday night, Sept. 25, at his home in Montreal, Canada. An investigation is underway, but no cause of death has been announced. His former bandmates learned the news while traveling to a Wednesday night show in Valentine, Neb.
