If you’ve been as anxious as we’ve been to hear more from America’s Got Talent finalist Emily West, get ready! The semifinal rounds start next week and will be broadcast live from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.

Since the quarterfinals, which found Emily performing Sia’s “Chandelier” in a stunning rhinestone-encrusted gown, the chanteuse has spent a little time back in Tennessee. “I’m really enjoying my family life and knowing what’s important, and really fantasize about what my next steps are. And by fantasize, I mean dream. I’m such a dreamer,” she told us on a call from her parent’s rural Tennessee home. “I’m really enjoying this time of recouping from what just happened because it feels like a dream.”

The dream is very much a reality for the bombshell blonde. America’s Got Talent has afforded her the opportunity to actually get her music back in front of an appreciative audience. She adds, “I was sick and tired of talking about making music. I want to go and perform my music for live audiences, and I want to travel and tour the world and I want to go to Europe and I want to be in theaters. And I just want to sing my songs and give back to people what I’ve been given.”

If you’d like to have a little Emily at home, you can still purchase her music on iTunes, but be prepared for a new project soon!
