Ellen DeGeneres, Hank Jr., Saints Coach Part of CMT taping

Random mix of big celebs to be part of the annual CMT Artists of the Year show.

If Hank Williams Jr.'s name is mud at ESPN, it's still gold in the country music world.

You might recall Hank appeared on the Country Music Association Awards show to poke fun at himself for his President Obama/Hitler gaffe. And now, CMT is including Bocephus in its annual CMT Artists of the Year taping at the end of the month.

He has some interesting high-profile company—both inside and outside country music—to salute those artists of the year, who are Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum.

The network also announced that Ellen DeGeneres, NASCAR star Jeff Gordon and New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton—Kenny Chesney's buddy—will be part of the mix.

Other celebrity presenters/performers at the taping inlcude The All-American Rejects, Gavin DeGraw, celeb chef Stephanie Izard, Lionel Richie and actor Matthew McConaughey.

The special first airs Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.
