It would seem that the Man in Black and the Oscar-winning actress who created White Diamonds perfume wouldn't run in the same circles, but according to Johnny Cash's daughter Rosanne, even Elizabeth Taylor admired the legendary country singer.

Rosanne tweeted on Wednesday, March 23, that Johnny Cash got a yearly birthday gift from Elizabeth Taylor, who passed away this morning at age 79.

"Every year Elizabeth Taylor sent my dad a telegram (yes, a telegram) for his birthday," Rosanne said via Twitter. "It said 'Remember, I'm younger than you!' (by one day)." Johnny Cash was born on Feb. 26, 1932, while Elizabeth Taylor was born on Feb. 27 of the same year.

"I was with him one time when it arrived," Rosanne continued. "He chuckled and showed me, [and] said 'She sends this every year.'"
