Strange but true: The Eli Young Band's video for new single "Say Goodnight" features a pretty girl and a robot falling in love.

Drummer Chris Thompson tells ABC News Radio that it's the first science fiction country music video ever. How does he know?

"We Googled it to make sure," he said.

Well, as long as they did their due diligence. . . .

The video comes from director Brian Lazzaro, who used an insane-asylum theme for EYB's "Crazy Girl" video.

"Yeah, we try to think outside the box when it comes to videos," lead singer Mike Eli says. "We've never really been the kind of band to do the norm."
