Eddie Montgomery Surgery a Success

Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry underwent successful surgery for prostate cancer this past week. According to Eddie's doctors, no further treatment should be needed. Eddie is reported to be resting at home and plans to spend some downtime during the holidays with his family. He and his Montgomery Gentry duo partner, Troy Gentry, will be heading out on a USO tour in early 2011 after the holiday break.
Eddie was diagnosed with prostate cancer in November.
