EDDIE AND TROY SET TO ROCK IN THE NEW YEAR AT RUPP

Montgomery Gentry gets ready to party in the new year with Gary Allan, Styx and Rodney Atkins.

Kentucky natives Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry fulfilled a lifelong fantasy the first time they played a New Year's Eve show at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky., three years ago. They drew 8,000 fans that first year and another 12,000 when they repeated the NYE show last year. They're hoping to top that attendance mark this year when they make their third New Year's appearance at Rupp—joined this time by Gary Allan, Styx and Rodney Atkins. Tickets go on sale Saturday.
