“Countdown to Kenny Chesney’s Lucky Old Sun” on iTunes will make available one track from the new album every week leading up to the actual release. “Nowhere to Go, Nowhere to Be” is up first on Sept. 23, followed by “Key’s in the Conch Shell” on Sept. 30. “Spirit of a Storm” wraps the trio of early available tracks on Oct. 7. The purchase of each track will count toward the cost of the album purchased on iTunes through its Complete My Album feature. The Lucky Old Sun deluxe package will be released Oct. 14 and features extra songs, including “Boston” and “Got a Little Crazy,” and the video from his single, “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven.” The music-only edition will be available Oct. 21.
