The tour was scheduled to kick off in February, but will be delayed about six–to–eight weeks while Dolly rests. Tickets for the original dates will be honored. "I know I have been breaking my back and bending over backwards trying to get my new Backwoods Barbie CD and world tour together," Dolly joked in a statement, "but I didn't mean to hurt myself doing it. But hey, you try wagging these puppies around for a while and see if you don't have back problems." Dolly added, "Seriously, though, the doctors said I will be as good as new in a few weeks, and I can't wait to get back out there." Dolly's Backwoods Barbie CD is slated for release Feb. 26.
