DIXIE CHICKS BREAK OWN SALES RECORD FOR "HOME"

The Dixie Chicks' newest album, "Home," has made itself right at home in the #1 position on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Country Albums charts.

Since last week's release, "Home" has sold almost 800,000 copies, and it has broken the previous record for highest first-week sales for any female artist and any country group -- both records previously held by the Chicks themselves.

Natalie Maines says she's "a little stunned," and adds: "I feel extra lucky that people are liking and loving this record."

Tonight, the Chicks will appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and Natalie says that the group will celebrate together. "I'm sure we'll open a bottle of champagne, and Emily will have a bottle of sparkling cider."
