Dierks Takes Guests on the Ridge

Dierks Bentley hosted his second Up on the Ridge party for invited guests and media at his favorite little hideaway near the small town of Leiper's Fork, Tenn., Tuesday (Nov. 9), the night before the CMA Awards.

And he definitely knows how to throw a cool bash. The party area featured a huge bonfire where guests were allowed to roast large marshmallows. A nearby station also featured graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallows, where you could put together your own s’mores treats.

Guests dined on barbecue, chicken, small lattice pies and other goodies presented on two long buffet tables. A bluegrass band played throughout the evening while Dierks mixed, mingled and posed for photos, although he did not perform. As the partygoers left, they were invited to choose from a display of iconic-themed lunch boxes, featuring Star Wars characters, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, The Beatles and others, and take one home as a parting gift.

Dierks hosted his first Up on the Ridge party in 2008. The site is the same location where Dierks filmed the video for his song "Up on the Ridge."
