Dierks Punishes Camera Guy for Chilly Lake Plunge Misfire

The annual New Year’s Day swim happens, but video file got “corrupted.”

Longtime Dierks Bentley fans know that the country singer gathers band members and friends every year for a New Year's Day plunge into chilly waters of a Nashville lake.

And that went down this year as well, but the video guy, Ryan Silver, told Dierks that there was a "corrupted file" problem—so no video of the breezy event.

So Dierks decided to punish Ryan by dressing him in a bright orange tank top, Speedos, tight green shorts and yellow swim cap, and sending him into the lake.

One of the funniest parts—it was 65 degrees in Nashville on New Year's Day, but it was 30 degrees when the camera guy got sent into the drink. And, of course, all this was videotaped and posted online.

Ryan was none too pleased, but he did it. And Dierks proved to be a good guy.

"C'mon, one time as bros," Dierks said before stripping down and running into the water with Ryan after Ryan went in the first time.
