“American Idol” runner-up will make her Opry debut during CMA Music Festival week.
DIERKS NO. 1 ACROSS THE BOARD
Dierks Bentley stands at the top of both the Billboard Country Songs and Country Albums charts, a first for the hot young star.
Dierks’ CD Long Trip Alone debuted at No. 1 with more than 82,000 copies sold, with George Strait in second place with his latest, It Just Comes Natural. Plus, Dierks’ single, “Every Mile a Memory,” sits at the top of the Country Songs chart. “The goal was to make an album that is a snapshot of my life at this particular moment,” Dierks told Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ. “We tried to inject some energy from the live show as well.”
