Dierks Excited About Fatherhood
Dierks Bentley has announced that he and his wife Cassidy are expecting their first child this fall.

“Cass’s eggo is preggo!” Dierks writes on the premium section of his fan website. ‘We are excited about adding on to the family, but we aren’t too sure how the current kids, Jake and George, are going to feel about it.” Jake and George, as most fans know, are the couple’s pet dogs. Dierks noted that he and Cassie “have gone back and forth” as to whether they want to find out the baby’s gender. In the June 2 issue of Country Weekly, on newsstands now, Dierks revealed his desire to have children. “I think if it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen,” Dierks said. “But I have so many friends who are younger than me who already have kids. I want my kids to be able to hang out with my friends’ kids. It’s like, man, I’ve gotta get goin’ on this thing!”
