DIERKS CELEBRATES A NO. 1

Dierks Bentley celebrated the No. 1 success of his single, “Every Mile a Memory,” at a party in Nashville, Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Before the event at the Sportsman’s Grille, Dierks met with members of the Nashville media and gave his thoughts about the song. “To me, it kind of sums up what the album [his new CD Long Trip Alone] is about,” Dierks noted. “The themes are life on the road and self-exploration. It’s my favorite song on the record.” Dierks added that he tries to learn from his heroes like George Strait. “George kind of smiles through everything,” said Dierks. “And you never hear George talk trash about someone else. He’s competitive, in a good way.” Dierks also revealed that he’ll have a live DVD coming out in early 2007.
