Dierks Bentley Warms Up Freezing Alaska Crowd

Country star decides to take a fan suggestion and pledges to shake his booty more onstage.

Yes, they still have freezing temps at night in Alaska, and then there's that constant sunlight thing going on about now.

Anchorage is unique, but Dierks Bentley appeared up for the challenge Monday night (April 16).

Before the show started, Dierks tweeted: "anchorage Alaska . . . question: is it possible to party until the sun comes up when it never really goes down this time of year?! let's try!!"

They must've tried hard.

"The alcohol line at the @DierksBentley show is out of control - an hour and no beer!" one fan tweeted. "Double shot I guess.”

Dierks called that a good choice.

But it wasn't just the guys getting rowdy.

"Shake your a%$ a little more," a female fan tweeted. "My sister-in-law just added you to her 'list'."

Dierks seemed happy to oblige: "shake butt more . . . noted!"

All in all, Dierks appreciated the crazy Alaska crowd: "note to country singers . . . anchorage Alaska is for real. people party harder on a monday night than many saturday night crowds. beyond fun."
