Dierks Bentley Set for Country & Cold Cans EP, College Tour

Watch Dierks’ preview of the new EP.

Dierks Bentley isn't letting his Country & Cold Cans Tour end quietly. Instead, the singer is releasing a four-song EP, Country & Cold Cans, on Aug. 21.

"It's about country music and it's about beer," Dierks says in a video about the making of the EP. "Most of the songs on this EP are about those two subjects. I think it's a great album to party to, but I do think the coolest thing about this little EP is the sound. We went after a different sound and I really dig the little bit of dirt and grit on these recordings. I love trying different things and I'm so grateful to my fans for letting me go different places," Dierks says in the video.

The track listing for the EP is as follows:

  1. Country & Cold Cans
  2. Grab a Beer
  3. Back Porch
  4. Summer on Fire

Dierks will bring that party spirit with him to help a few colleges kick off the school year right, on his upcoming Country and Cold Cans: Back to College Tour with special guests The Cadillac Black. The tour will include stops at the University of Georgia on Aug. 20, the University of South Carolina on Aug. 21 and a show at The Grove at the University of Mississippi on Aug. 22.
