The new Desperate Housewives soundtrack-music from and inspired by the hit series-features songs by country, pop, rock and soul performers. Shania Twain-who reportedly could make a guest appearance on the series-has the CD's first single, "Shoes," written by Tammy Hyler, Kim Tribble and Joie Scott. Word is Shania will soon head to New York to shoot the video for the single-and the show's cast will be in it! Other songs on the album include Sara Evans doing Loretta Lynn's "One's on the Way," Martina McBride letting go with Jeannie C. Riley's "Harper Valley PTA" and k.d. lang delivering Glen Campbell's "Dreams of the Everyday Housewife." The CD is out Sept. 20.
