David Frizzell to Perform Special Song

David Frizzell will perform a song he wrote for Special Olympics at the opening ceremonies of the 2009 Special Olympics State Summer Games, May 15, at Allen Arena at Lipscomb University in Nashville.

David will take the stage at 6:45 p.m. to perform “Try and Catch the Wind,” which he has dedicated to Special Olympics. “This is a song that I wrote from my heart,” says David. David has also recorded a version of the song with Jimmy Fortune and Helen Cornelius. The 2009 Special Olympics Summer Games will take place May 15 through May 17.
