Darryl plans to break ground later this year, and hold the grand opening in early 2009. While the original restaurant in Darryl’s hometown of Savannah, Tenn., is a showcase for his memorabilia, the second Worleybird Café will focus on the military and will honor the men and women who serve in the U.S. armed forces. It will also offer live music in an attached theater.
