DARRYL MAKES A FAN OUT OF MOM WITH "SECOND WIND"

Darryl Worley's current single, "Second Wind," from his debut album is one of his favorites.

It was inspired by a location in Mexico, but has that universal quality that enables most anyone to relate to it.

Darryl says that anyone who has ever gone through hard times should be able to identify with the song's lyrics -- and that it's even one of his own mother's favorites.

"She has always loved that song," he says. "Its message is very much about getting over something that has probably been tough. It's not necessarily about a lost love. It could be a lost love or it could be just a tragic thing or tough experience you've had in your life. My mom calls it 'the healing song' because sometimes in life we go through things that we just have to do. The human side of us always wants an answer right now. Sometimes you just have to wait."
