You might think that avid golfer Darius Rucker would find any excuse to swing a club, and he does. But he’d also look for any way he could to help out those in need, which is why he’s hosting the 2014 ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic in Las Vegas on April 5.

This year’s event will welcome fellow country stars and golfers including Jake Owen, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, Frankie Ballard, Cole Swindell and Scotty McCreery, and will raise money for the Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, which aids in emergency financial assistance for music related organizations and individuals. The scramble is also part of the ACM’s “The Week Vegas Goes Country” leading up to the ACM Awards.

The ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 6, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
