Danielle Goes Deeper

Danielle Peck has completed work on her second album, due for release next year.

The album’s first single, “Bad for Me,” is out now. “There are several songs on here that are more serious,” says Danielle, whose self-titled 2006 debut included the Top 20 hit “Findin’ a Good Man.” “With the first record, I got to show a lot of who I am, but I think I was afraid to cross too many lines too fast, and I really held myself back. With this record, I go deeper. There are songs that really show my personality off.”

Danielle admits she hasn’t come up with a title for her sophomore effort yet. “Nothing’s jumped out at me,” she says with a chuckle, “so maybe it’ll just be Danielle 2.
