The album’s first single, “Bad for Me,” is out now. “There are several songs on here that are more serious,” says Danielle, whose self-titled 2006 debut included the Top 20 hit “Findin’ a Good Man.” “With the first record, I got to show a lot of who I am, but I think I was afraid to cross too many lines too fast, and I really held myself back. With this record, I go deeper. There are songs that really show my personality off.”

Danielle admits she hasn’t come up with a title for her sophomore effort yet. “Nothing’s jumped out at me,” she says with a chuckle, “so maybe it’ll just be Danielle 2.”
