Prior to her Oct. 17 show in Zanesville, Ohio, Danielle, a native of nearby Coshocton, was surprised by mayors of both towns with a new proclamation. Oct. 17 is now officially recognized as “Danielle Peck Day” by the town of Zanesville and its citizens. “I was so shocked and frazzled by the news that I actually forgot the words to one of my songs once we began the show!” recalled Danielle. “What an incredible honor!” The Zanesville performance marked the first time that Danielle has performed in the area since her teenage years. “I’ve seen so many wonderful faces that I haven’t seen in years. Spending time at home always makes me appreciate my upbringing,” she said. “Everything was wonderful . . . I love home!”
