DAD'S WORDS TOUCH VINCE

While Vince Gill is in a very public profession, the father of a sick child helped Vince learn that some things are better done privately.

Vince recalls that after visiting the child, the boy's father told Vince how much he appreciated him visiting his son. He also appreciated Vince coming without a TV crew. The comment helped Vince learn an invaluable lesson. "Even though you're giving of your heart," he proclaims, "if you're giving of your heart with the wrong wish for what is coming your way, then there's no point in doing the good deed." Vince, you're a good man.
