CW Raises Beards, Reaches Goal for “No Shave November”

Fundraising effort gets a little hairy.

Now that we’ve flipped the calendar to December, the hirsute wonder that is the “No Shave November” fundraising competition is technically finished. And Team CW actually crossed the finish line, making it through November with only a few hair-related problems and some weird looks. Mostly from our parents and loved ones, who still don’t understand us. But I digress . . .

The big news is that, thanks to you, Country Weekly readers, we surpassed our goal of $1,000. The money raised benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, one of the leading cancer-treatment facilities for children and their families. Even more impressive, “No Shave November” teams together raised more than $200,000 this year for St. Jude.

If you didn’t get to donate, it’s not too late! Just click here to make a small pledge for the kids.

Thanks again, and salute the beard!
