CW Exclusive: Randy Rogers Ties the Knot

Congratulations go out to Randy Rogers Band's namesake frontman Randy Rogers and his new bride, Chelsea Cai Dowlearn, who eloped in Hawaii on March 27.

The couple was married at sunset on the beach in Maui, according to Randy, with just the bride, groom and officiant present. "We just kind of wanted to make it easy for our families and fun for us," he tells Country Weekly exclusively.

The wedding was the culmination of an exciting few days for Randy and his band. "We had opened for Merle Haggard and I got to meet Merle for the first time. The same week that we got to open for George Strait at the Houston Rodeo. Then I got married," he says, laughing. "That was a good week. Great week!"

Coincidentally, the band's bass player, Jon Richardson, was also in Hawaii eloping—same day, different island—with his new bride.

Congratulations times two!
