As has previously been reported, Eric Church and his wife, Katherine, welcomed a new baby boy, Boone McCoy Church, on Oct. 3, and now, at 10 weeks old, their son meets the world for the first time, looking up from the case of his daddy’s six-string guitar.

Born at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, Boone is a very healthy and happy boy, and Eric says he is the most amazing gift he’s ever received. Eric's even gone so far as to baby-proof his tour bus. "Yes, I am now the proud owner of a baby-friendly tour bus," Eric tells CountryWeekly.com. "We're having a brand-new tour bus built with a crib and soundproofed areas, so the family can be out on the road with me. We are going to be touring pretty heavy and I have always thought it would be neat to take my child with me as we travel to all of these different cities and see all of those things that I didn't get to see growing up.

"It's going to be an interesting transition for me—and it will definitely require me to go shift gears back and forth from who I am onstage and off," Eric adds. "The way I see it, about the time it's time for Boone to go to bed, it will be time for me to put on the glasses and get out on the stage."

Eric plans to celebrate his son’s first Christmas at home with his wife and family. His headlining tour, the Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, will commence in 2012 in Fort Smith, Ark., on Jan. 19.
