Craig Won’t Be At Carrie’s Wedding

Craig Morgan says that while he is among the guests who were invited to attend Carrie Underwood’s upcoming wedding, he will not be able to attend. “I did get an invitation, but I’m working, so I don’t get to go," Craig tells Country Weekly. "[Carrie's fiance] Mike [Fisher] and I really hit it off. We share a lot of common interests. I think they are going to have a great marriage. He’s a great man and she’s a good lady, and a sweet girl.”

Craig predicts at least one thing may change for Carrie after she gets a wedding ring on her finger. “She doesn’t write [songs] on the road. I think that will change for her when she gets married. I told her that when I’m home I try to spend as much time with my family and my kids as I can, so I do a lot of writing on the road.” Craig says that he and Carrie have talked about writing songs together later in the year between tour dates.
