Performing on the stage of Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe is a rite of passage for many aspiring country stars. And many attend songwriters’ nights at the intimate venue to learn from the best.

On Jan. 15 at 11 p.m. ET, you can witness that sacred tradition as Craig Morgan performs on the Bluebird stage as part of the premiere of A&E’s new series Crazy Hearts: Nashville. Craig will perform his hit single “Wake Up Lovin’ You” as viewers meet cast members Jimmy Stanley, an aspiring singer/songwriter, and April Nemeth, Jimmy’s girlfriend and manager.

Crazy Hearts: Nashville follows a group of up-and-coming country musicians as they navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of the music industry in search of their dreams. The show's regular time slot will be Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on A&E, beginning Jan. 16.
