The next time you see Craig Morgan, don't be surprised if he’s sporting a new, decidedly shorter ’do. Craig let a fan shave his head as part of a live auction that took place over the weekend during his fifth annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot.

The highest bidder, former NFL player Robb Nelson, won the right to give Craig a high and tight haircut onstage at the concert, raising $1,200. A custom dirt bike was also up for auction and brought in an additional $12,500.

Pam Tillis, Bucky Covington and Sarah Darling were among those who participated in the concert, while Kevin Windham, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Fred Andrews, Randy Hawkins, Bucky and Sarah were part of the celebrity ride.

Proceeds from the weekend’s activities, which included a celebrity motocross ride, concert and sporting clay shoot, benefit Billy’s Place, a home for temporarily displaced children in Craig’s hometown of Dickson, Tenn., just outside Nashville. A complete tally of monies raised is expected later in the week.

Craig’s new single, “This Ole Boy,” has been released to country radio.
