Craig Morgan Is Recovering From Surgery

Shoulder surgery results in canceled shows.

Craig Morgan lives life at full-throttle, whether it’s climbing the lighting rigging during his live show or torquing up the accelerator on his dirt bike for a little off-road action. Consequently, his thirst for adventure has left him a little dinged up.

And while he was anticipating a routine shoulder surgery yesterday (May 14) to repair the years of damage, he and the doctors didn’t realize the extent of his injury. So, following several hours of surgery involving six shiny new screws to repair bone fractures, Craig has been forced to cancel shows next week in Chattanooga, Tenn., Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., and appearances on CBS’ The Talk and the Grand Ole Opry.

Craig is expected to fully recover and return to his active lifestyle with the addition of a stylish new sling. His next scheduled tour date is May 23 in Huntsville, Tenn., but consult his website for changes.
