Craig Morgan Has Gone to the Dogs

Getting husky and refuses to shave for the adventure of a lifetime.

Sure, he's outdoorsy. At times, even a little reckless. But Craig Morgan has completely gone to the dogs. Sled dogs.

This April 9 through 13, he'll participate in the Fjällräven Polar—a 200-mile, five-day dog-sled race that goes from Signaldalen, Norway, to Jukkasjärvi, Sweden.

Craig will be among 20 people from 10 countries to participate in the race. He will be trained by Fjällräven experts on mushing the sled as well as caring for the dogs, pitching a tent and surviving the frigid temperatures. He's even growing a beard to help protect his face from the sub-zero chill. “Everyone would agree I have been a daredevil all my life," he says, laughing. "I love to travel to new places and will try just about anything, so when Fjällräven invited me to join them for the Polar, I said yes without giving it a second thought.”

Now that sounds like fun! Minus the frigid-temperature part.

The expedition will be documented for an upcoming episode of Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, which airs on the Outdoor Channel.
