Blake Shelton, the people's champion? When the People's Choice Awards are handed out in January, Blake just might walk away as the fans' favorite male artist in all genres.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and star of The Voice was included in the all-genre category alongside Chris Brown, Jason Mraz, Justin Bieber and Usher when the nominations were announced yesterday (Nov. 15). Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood also scored all-genre nominations and will compete against one another in the Favorite Female Artist category.

Jason Aldean helped announce this year's field, which finds the "Take a Little Ride" singer up for Favorite Country Artist.

The 2013 People's Choice Awards air Jan. 9 from Los Angeles on CBS. Fans can vote for the winners through Dec. 14 on and via Facebook and Twitter.
